WXNA DJ Night is a monthly Vinyl Tap tradition, happening the last Friday of every month.

Each month, a rotating lineup of DJs from WXNA 101.5 FM takes over the turntables, digging deep and spinning across genres with the care, curiosity, and independence the station is known for. No algorithms. Just real people, real records, and real taste.

A portion of proceeds from the night is donated directly to WXNA, helping support Nashville’s community radio and the voices that keep it thriving.

Our weekly Jazz Night has become something of a standing tradition, bringing together some of Nashville's most compelling players for evenings that feel equal parts listening room and neighborhood hang. This edition features vocalist Abigail Flowers and pianist-songwriter Kyle Cox, two artists whose work draws from the classic jazz songbook while continuing to expand it through original compositions of their own.

Flowers' warm, unhurried vocal style carries echoes of Ella Fitzgerald, Blossom Dearie, and Chet Baker, while her recent album Only a Dream showcases an elegant approach to contemporary vocal jazz. Cox, a Nashville-based jazz songwriter, writes with the same melodic sensibility, and the pair have recently begun releasing original music together, including the charming duet "When I See You Again."

Join us for another Thursday evening of standards, original songs, and the kind of musical conversation that keeps Jazz Night feeling fresh week after week.

Sofia Goodman Jazz Jam is now a monthly gathering at Vinyl Tap—an open, high-vibe jazz jam led by one of Nashville’s most respected bandleaders.

Drummer, composer, and educator Sofia Goodman sets the tone alongside a stellar house trio, creating a supportive space for musicians to play, listen, and connect. Jazz standards are encouraged, as the jam is focused on musicians who want to explore this rich tradition that has shaped music and culture for over a century. Folk music has always been a broad church. This matinee offers three distinct sermons.

Annie Williams opens the afternoon with songs that find the extraordinary in everyday moments. Her debut album Visitor, produced by Bill Reynolds and out via YK Records, pairs intimate songwriting with understated arrangements that linger long after the final note, giving ordinary scenes the weight of memory.

Oklahoma City's Moriah Bailey brings her project Acoustic Contact to Vinyl Tap, expanding her harp-centered songs with violin, bass, and percussion. The music moves fluidly between folk, post-rock, and improvisation, balancing delicate passages with moments of quiet intensity.

Jo Schornikow steps out from the world of Phosphorescent, where she's spent years as a keyboardist and collaborator, to showcase a body of work that's unmistakably her own. Piano, organ, and a gift for subtle melody anchor songs that drift between folk, chamber pop, and ambient textures.
